Executive Summary
Algebra Capital was established in the DIFC in November 2006 and is regulated by the DFSA as a Category 3 licensed firm, whose authorized activities include Asset Management and Advisory Services. In September 2007, Algebra Capital announced a Strategic Joint Venture through which Franklin Templeton Investments acquired a 25% equity stake. In March 2009, Franklin Templeton Investments increased its stake to 40%.
